The cottage like setting at M.I.L.L.S. Institute is unlike any other in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The environment is warm colorful and inviting. The children are happy and hugs and smiles abound.

The perimeter of the school is enclosed with white picket fences which seem to beckon to visitors to come on inside and experience our charm and neighborliness. There is a security gate which is locked during school hours.

The surrounding areas are paved, graveled and bordered by lush tropical hedges and trees. Native walls surround the gardens and colorful lunch tables are conveniently placed so that students can interact during meals. We have two separate grassed play areas for our Preschoolers and Kindergarteners and the grade students.

Children learn what they live. With this in mind we strive to ensure that our classrooms are brightly decorated, well organised and conducive to learning. Each student has access to a laptop computer. Each classroom has a multimedia projector.

There is a well stock library in each classroom and we have a well established Lending Library Programme for each class. The school has a keyboard, tambourines and other musical instruments which are used to enhance lessons and assembly activities.

There is also a computer room well equipped with working computers to introduce computer skills to our students as well as to enhance their learning experience.
